Apprentice Civil Maintenance

About the role 

Murrumbidgee Irrigation is looking for an apprentice with a passion for working outdoors and completing a wide range of maintenance activities to join our team. The successful candidate will be completing an apprenticeship which includes the completion of a Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations. This role is a full-time position based in Griffith, NSW. 

In this role you will:

• Assist with maintenance and construction activities associated with MI’s infrastructure 
• Assist in the operation and maintenance of plant and equipment 
• Support the daily operation of water delivery systems with a focus on safety and efficiency
• Plan, coordinate and undertake works in accordance with safe work practices.  
• Maintain records and data in accordance with agreed procedures.
