Apprentice Civil Maintenance

About the role
Murrumbidgee Irrigation is looking for an apprentice with a passion for working outdoors and completing a wide range of maintenance activities to join our team. The successful candidate will be completing an apprenticeship which includes the completion of a Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations. This role is a full-time position based in Griffith, NSW.
In this role you will:
- Assist with maintenance and construction activities associated with MI’s infrastructure
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of plant and equipment
- Support the daily operation of water delivery systems with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Plan, coordinate and undertake works in accordance with safe work practices.
- Maintain records and data in accordance with agreed procedures.
