The GIS / Spatial Systems Analyst is responsible for leading the design, implementation and continuous improvement of geographic information systems (GIS).
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Spatial Systems Management: lead the provision of specialist GIS data management and analysis.
- Geospatial Analysis: develop interactive maps and dashboards to enable data driven decision making across the business.
- Lead Technology Initiatives: identify opportunities to drive strategic initiatives to foster innovation.
- Data Management: maintain and analyse spatial information to improve decision-making, boost operational efficiency, and support strategic initiatives.
What will you bring
The successful applicant will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Geographic Information Systems or related field
- Demonstrated Experience with the ESRI product suite (E.g., ArcPro, Server, Enterprise/Portal, Online)
- Demonstrated Experience in administering and maintaining SQL databases.
- 2+ years experience in a similar role.
- Ability to gather, analyse and document business requirements.
Previous experience in Infrastructure, utilities and/or asset investment sector, highly regarded.
