About the role  

MI is looking for a Maintenance Technician with a passion for electronics and communications to join our Technical Maintenance team. 

 

Working as a key role in the Technical Maintenance team, key accountabilities include:

  • Maintaining MI’s automation technology including electronic instrumentation, communications, and motorised equipment.  
  • Installing, calibrating, and inspecting assets.  
  • Diagnosing electronic and communications issues and applying fault-finding techniques, including via SCADA and other software tools.  
  • Planning, coordinating and undertaking works in accordance with safe work practices.  
  • working collaboratively to support the broader Technical Maintenance team.

What you will bring  

  • Demonstrated experience in Electronics, Instrumentation, Communications and/or Mechanical Maintenance.
  • Experience interpreting drawings, schematics, work instructions and technical documentation.
  • General Construction Induction Training Card (White Card).
  • Live in or be willing to relocate to the Griffith Area (or its surrounds). 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage your own time and an ability to work autonomously.
  • Commitment to a strong values culture and a preparedness to ‘walk the talk’.
  • Certified Meter Installer (CMI) Accreditation (Desirable) 
  • Current ‘C’ class motor vehicle licence
